ILOP's commitment to environmental protection

In 2016, we renovated our facilities with a strong commitment to energy savings and environmental respect.
The new building meets the A Plus energy class standards, using natural or recyclable materials such as wood, reed matting for insulation, and aluminum for the structure.
Electricity is sourced from a 20 kW photovoltaic system, while the Solar Cooling system generates thermal energy for heating and cooling the spaces.
An advanced home automation system ensures constant monitoring and maximum environmental comfort.

Thanks to these choices, the building is highly efficient: it does not use fossil fuels and aims for zero emissions.

Sustainable renovation

Sustainability is a core value for ILOP, even in the design and renovation of our spaces.
We use natural materials for insulation, such as reed matting and wood paste, ensuring a reduced environmental impact while improving the energy efficiency of the buildings.

Renewable Energy for a Green Future

For heating and cooling our optical centers, we utilize renewable energy sources, including photovoltaic panels, solar thermal systems, and the use of pellets and wood.
This choice allows us to reduce CO₂ emissions and optimize the use of clean energy.

Waste reduction

At ILOP Optical Centers, we are committed to reducing water and energy waste to promote sustainable comfort.
We use biomass heating systems to minimize environmental impact while ensuring optimal energy efficiency—without compromising the comfort of our customers.

Social Commitment

We believe that visual well-being should be accessible to everyone. That’s why ILOP is actively involved in social projects and partnerships with schools, local organizations, and community groups. We offer free vision screenings, prevention campaigns, and support for families facing vulnerable situations.

Ottica ILOP is not only a trusted point of reference for eye health, but also a company deeply rooted in the local community, committed to solidarity and the promotion of collective well-being.

We have chosen to actively support those who care for others by donating an ambulance to the SOS 3 Valli association, in order to aid their daily work of providing assistance and emergency services in the area.

In addition, in collaboration with the Lions Club, we regularly organize free amblyopia screenings, offering the expertise of our qualified staff. These preventive events are dedicated to children and aim to detect any visual impairments early—crucial for ensuring healthy and harmonious visual development from a young age.

Our commitment is driven by a simple yet fundamental principle: eye health is a right for everyone, and it starts with prevention.

Caring for little eyes with big love

Progetto Elisa

Ottica ILOP is actively involved in the initiatives of the Elisa Project Association, which promotes visual prevention in pediatric age. The goal is twofold: to raise awareness among families about the importance of visual checks during the early years of life and to promote the early detection of amblyopia, a condition that, if diagnosed early, can be successfully corrected.

Conducting visual screenings for infants and adolescents, as well as offering training courses for medical staff and orthoptists, is another key objective of the Associazione Elisa.

Through free screenings for children between 10 and 22 months, it is possible to non-invasively detect potential vision problems, thus contributing to their future well-being.

Visual Prevention in Schools

Ottica ILOP deeply believes in the importance of visual prevention from the early years of life. For this reason, every year we help organize free visual screening days in local preschools. Schools that request it can host our professionals for a day dedicated to checking the vision of young children. The screening, non-invasive and specially designed for preschoolers, allows us to detect any potential visual issues early on, which are essential for the development of learning and perception.

Being present in the community also means supporting the passion, energy, and values of sports. Over the years, ILOP has chosen to collaborate with numerous local organizations, supporting teams and sports associations in disciplines such as skiing, motorsport, boxing, handball, water polo, football, volleyball, and basketball. This ongoing commitment stems from the desire to contribute to the growth of young people, promote a healthy lifestyle, and enhance the excellence of our local area.

Progetto Ape Amica

Bees are essential to our planet: they ensure biodiversity and are vital for ecological balance. However, they are threatened by climate change, pollution, and the use of pesticides.

That’s why Ape Amica was created—an initiative through which Ottica ILOP is committed to protecting bees and the environment.

For every pair of glasses purchased, we donate 1 euro to projects that support the protection and repopulation of bees, funding local and national activities for hive maintenance and the promotion of sustainable farming practices. Choosing ILOP means making a gesture of love: for you, for your vision, and for the planet.
